Some month ago I was invited to create an illustration connected with food, so I played on some fruity characters I use to sketch these months in my spare time.
The illustration has been used in a kid competition organized by Più Libri Junior, part of a the book fair held in Rome and it was in collaboration with Minimondi, a festival dedicated to illustration and children books. The children were invited to invent and write a story connected with food, watching my illustration and other four, created by 4 illustrators (Sarah Mazzetti, Jon Carling, Mafalda Laezza, Cristian Grossi). In the end, it was created a book contaning the 5 winning stories and our illustrations, the design is by Kreativehouse.

Alcuni mesi fa sono stata invitata a creare un'illustrazione a tema cibo, ne ho approfittato per lavorare con dei personaggi fruttosi che disegno nel mio sketchbook da un po' di tempo.
L'illustrazione è stata usata per un concorso indetto da Più Libri Junior in collaborazione con Minimondi. Bambini e ragazzi, tra i 9 e i 14 anni, sono stati invitati a scrivere un breve racconto sul tema del cibo, la mia illustrazione e quelle di altri 4 illustratori (Sarah Mazzetti, Jon Carling, Mafalda Laezza, Cristian Grossi) dovevano ispirarli nella loro scrittura. È stato creato anche un libro, progettato dallo studio Kreativehouse, che oltre alle nostre illustrazioni, contiene i 5 racconti dei bimbi vincitori.
